Taking Care of Your Dogs

Choosing your dog

Choosing your dog can be difficult. You need to know what breed of dog you want, what size it is and will be, and what gender it is. If a specific puppy stands out from the rest of the puppies, its adorable, friendly, and is recommended by the breeder then you should probably choose it.

Feeding Your Dog

Feeding your dog is very simple. If you have a small dog then you should feed it about 1 cup of food per meal. If you have a large dog then you should feed it about 2 cups of food per meal. You should NEVER allow your dog have chocolate because it could kill it. Also you should keep water in a separate bowl at all times so your dog doesn't get dehydrated.

Training Your Dog

To train a puppy you must not be soft. You have to make sure that the dog knows whats right and wrong. If you fill a spray bottle with water and spray it every time it is bad. Eventually it will learn.

Grooming and Health

Dogs need to be loved all the time. You should always keep dog shampoo and other grooming supplies. When and if your dog gets sick you should immediately bring it to the closest vet office. Once every month you should bring your puppy to a groomer.

Taking Care of Your Cats

Choosing Your Kitten

When it comes time for you to pick a kitten you should make sure that it has a healthy look to it and most of all is healthy. You should have a breed in mind so you won't have to spend a ton of time thinking at the breeders. If the kitten stands out, is very friendly, and has all the qualities you may need to have a great cat.

Feeding Your Cat

When it's feeding time for your kitten you should think, Is my cat going to be an inside or outside cat? If it is going to be an outside cat then you should give it hard crunchy food so that if it is in danger it can use its teeth for protection. If it is going to be an inside cat you can give it either hard crunchy or soft mushy food.

Training Your Cat

To train your cat you need to fill a spray bottle with water and when ever it is bad you spray it. Don't spray it too much or let too much slide because if you do you will loose it as a friend.

Health and Grooming

Grooming your cat can be fun. Sitting by the warm campfire brushing your cat can be fun, but giving your cat a bath is not. So you should take your cat to the local groomers and vet at least once a month. If your cat gets sick from anything you use to groom it you should stop right away and get it to the nearest vet.

Taking Care of Your Hamsters

Choosing your Hamster

Choosing your hamster is very very easy. You can just pick one up, see if it is healthy and nice and you are all set. If it has a bad look to it like a very greasy coat then you should not get it. My hamster was given to me because it took up too much space in my aunt's house, so I didn't get to pick it. When we got her she had a fluffy look to her and she was friendly. I knew then and there that she was perfect.

Feeding Your Hamster

You should feed your hamster 3 times a day and and occasionally feed it some treats. When I had my hamster I fed her yogurt chips, which kept her fur really soft. I made sure that she had water every day. When it comes to exercise, all you need is a hamster wheel, and a hamster ball.

Health and Grooming

When it comes to exercise, all you need is a hamster wheel, and a hamster ball. Put your hamster in the ball at least once a day, and let him or her run around the house for a while. Your hamster's cage should have a hamster wheel in it so that it can run around when ever he or she wants. If you take care of your hamster you will only have to groom it once a week. Grooming means that you brush, bathe your hamster, and clean the cage.
